We are able to offer you the "correct" wiring diagrams for your specific year of X1/9, unlike the "generic" or "foreign market" wiring diagrams that are offered elsewhere. Our diagrams were produced by Fiat North America's Technical Department while the cars were being sold as new vehicles and incorporate all the differences unique to our USA cars. The diagrams vary in number of pages depending upon year of the car, but cover your car fully with individual circuits on each page, wire color and diameter charts and relay and component locations. You cannot be without one of these for your specific year of car!

1980-81 ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSIS MANUAL
For the 1980 and 1981 model years, Fiat published a 67 page publication that goes over the Electrical System in great detail with fault diagnosis, connectors, component locations, switches, diagrams and more. If you are having electrical "gremlins" this will help you immensely. This is also completely applicable to the 1982 X1/9's and the 1983-1989 Bertones.

X1/9 WINDOW REGULATOR UPDATE
Due to major problems in the early X1/9 window regulator design, Fiat revised the regulator in the 1977 model year for improved performance. This is the Service Bulletin issued to the dealership's service departments describing the changes with diagrams of how the new and old regulators functioned. If your windows act "funky" going up and down this tells you how the cables should be run with adjustment instructions.
FIAT SPECIAL SERVICE TOOLS - FIAT, like all auto manufacturers, had special service tools to accomplish certain repair or maintenance procedures. FIAT X1/9 PERFORMANCE HANDBOOK
This manual has a beginners approach with a sensible and practical guide to improving an already great car. Chapters include Building a Hot Street Car and an Autocross or Road Race/Solo car. A nice history of the X1/9 and the story of the Dallara X1/9 are also included. 60 pages of great information.
OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY!!
- After FIAT ceased selling cars in the US
in 1982 they stayed several years to provide replacement parts here in the
US. In 1990 they sold off the parts business to Import Parts America (IPA)
out of Fremont, CA and left the US behind.
IPA made a nice attempt at doing some
marketing and one of the things they did was to provide a "community"
newsletter. In exchange for your address, year and model of car they would
send you a quarterly newsletter. This newsletter was a great idea, but
after three issues or so it folded.
What we have here is the original, initial
Volume 1, Issue 1 FIAT BRAVO NEWSLETTER from the Fall of 1990. This is NOT a copy or
reprint but the actual newsletter itself printed almost 20 years ago.
This is an incredible look at the FIAT scene
two decades ago and has articles on FIAT's history since 1899, "Affordable
Classic Cars", maintaining your convertible top, adjusting headlamps.

OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY! (part 2) - Even after they stopped selling cars in North America in 1982, FIAT Auto USA continued selling replacement parts. Every couple of months they issued "Dealer Price Lists" to the former dealers and now coming on line "Parts Distributors". As parts would come and go, naturally the size of the book would change but most issues are about 120 pages and list each and every part with factory part number, a description, dealer price and retail price. These books were not supposed to fall into the consumer's hands; the wealth of information contained within is tremendous! These are ORIGINAL FIAT/LANCIA price books, not copies or reprints so quantities are of course limited.
